I have had the exterminators into my house
and they have killed several mice (about 20)
and left me with traps to continue the job.

Whereas before I used to have constant
sneezing fits, now I have them very rarely
and I wonder if the mice were causing the
trouble?

Cats don't bother me at all.

Perhaps you're allergic to mice, or to mold that may grow on their
droppings.
