Turns out, I had only minorly sprained it but playing basketball on it
really messed it up and when I twisted it again in basketball because
it was already weak, I broke it! ;_; So anyway, I've got a fancy green
cast on my ankle now. Thanks to everyone who helped me out in my
original topic.

Hello,
I was following your other thread. Looks to me that nobody told you
R.I.C.E. (rest, ice it, elevate it )
I hope you're convinced this time to stay off it?
Sounds like it's one of the smaller bones in the ankle or they'd have done
surgery. That's what happned to my friend, but some things went wrong with
the surgery and she was ordered to physio (which you might need later)
despite telling them she was still in pain, and eventually back to work.
Found out later that a screw had come out of a plate and the plate was
ajar and one bone had healed wrong, ligament pulled away from the front
bone near knee and her foot was on crooked and she ended up having to have
bone taken from her pelvic or hip area to replace some bone in her leg
(that was too short) or ankle with a cage around her leg and screws going
through from one side to another - off her feet for months.  Now has
permanent limp and swelling and pain and arthritis. So take care of
yourself and if you have doubts, get it scanned again before getting back
into your normal routine.
