Oh good grief... Cough up $100 and get yourself a new microwave oven if it
scares you, or if that is too much try spending $15 on a toaster oven. Here

I also have a crockpot which was given to me a long time ago but
I've never used it as yet; I may look into
using it. Actually I have a new microwave I bought last year but put
into storage in the basement.
I'll clean the one my landlord gave me for the time being. Some of
the interior has been deteriorated by spills
of cooking but I think I can deal with it around year-one and a half at
most.
