culture the H5N1 virus in the same culture with AIDS virus to yield a predator of one or the other

I am certain that no-one in the sciences has performed this experiment.
The reason I call for it being performed is that I want a direct cure
for AIDS and bird-flu H5N1.

As far as we know we have no workable predator of viruses except for
macrophages within animal bodies. According to Bob Bruner, if I have
that reference correct, the bacterial preying on viruses is via
"restriction" by bacteria. But I want a full large scale predation on
viruses.

Now the namby pamby idiots are going to shout "do not ever do this".
But science must do things in order to make progress. If humanity
listened to the namby pamby idiots we would still be living in caves.

The direct method of curing a viral disease is to have a predator of
the virus injected into a diseased victim. One such injection would be
Transplanting Macrophages.

A second form of direct method is to find a viral predator of another
virus. So what I want to find out is whether we can culture the AIDS
virus along with the H5N1 inside the very same culture and wait a week,
a month to find out if one of them devours and preys on the other.
Where one evolves to the point where it then destroys the other virus.
We separate out this newly evolved strain that preys on say the AIDS
virus and thus would offer to be a cure of AIDS. Or , if say the AIDS
virus evolved to the point where it preyed on the H5N1 virus, we
separate that out and offer it as a cure for bird-flu.

You see, we create a viral predator on a different virus that causes
human disease.

And the evolved viral predator should be evolved enough that it no
longer causes the disease which it was first reclaimed for. In other
words, the evolved virus is now benign and friendly to the human body
and will cure the other deadly virus.

Sounds like a great idea. Why don't you and Bob get together and give it a
go and then get back to us with the results.

I suspect no-one has filtered out the HIV virus in quantity and the
H5N1 virus in quantity then put the two together in a culture and wait
and watch what happens.

Is it easy to filter out these viruses and get a sizeable quantity of
them?

Who knows, we may have a repeat of serendipity of Fleming with a petri
dish and a mold blown in through the window that made the penicillin.

This petri dish of 2 viruses cultured for weeks and months hoping that
one preys on the other and destroys the other.

Now maybe there is a good benign bacteria that lives in the human body
that we can set up another petri dish with this bacteria and either one
of those viruses, hoping that the bacteria evolves into a predator of
the virus.

Maybe white blood cells of a species immune to these viruses be placed
in a petri dish and hope it preys on the viruses.

It would be nice if we can evolve a cell that preys on viruses for it
would be a cure. This method may even extend and reach over to be a
predator of cancer cells leaving normal cells alone.

Seems like too much bio-medical research is going into analysis of what
the chemistry and structure of viruses than in actually experimenting
with viruses to try to force them to perform a specific action--
preying on viruses.

I doubt anyone knows what will happen when culturing several different
microbes over long periods of time and whether a predator of viruses
emerges.

By preying on a virus, may mean that the predator eats a bite out of
the other virus thus rendering it harmless.

And who knows, we could be fantastically lucky in that what emerges
from a petri dish of HIV and H5N1 are two preyed upon viruses and both
rendered benign. So that if someone has the AIDS disease we inject the
predator H5N1 and if someone catches bird flu we inject the predator
HIV.

Up until the year 2005, humanity has had only one cure for viral
disease-- illicit an immune response via vaccination. Other medicines
are not cures but the delay of death such as Tamaflu for H5N1 or drugs
for AIDS.

So it is time for a new and novel cure for viral diseases, and what I
offer is a direct attack on viruses. I consider vaccines as an indirect
attack because once a person catches the disease, it was too late for a
vaccine to be of any use.

So the Direct Attack on viruses is the biotech a predator of viruses. A
particle that when injected into a diseased human will go around and
attack and destroy only viruses. This is the hope. That we biotech this
particle to seek and destroy viruses.

So we check out whether virus A will prey on virus B in a cultured
petri dish. We test out other particles such as bacteria, such as white
blood cells, such as macrophages, such as fungi, mold etc etc.

We find that particle that preys on viruses and we further biotech it
so that it is benign to the human body.
