I've explained to the people here the kinds of shell games that need to be played with the "studies' in order to generate these un-scientific claims. Talk about the biochemical reality, without accepting everything uncritically, and then we can proceed.

The truth is simple.

maxlharris@gmail.com - 27 Oct 2005 19:16 GMT It will more likely be the Chunginator's 2LB-OMER plan. Which is the same stuff, and you only get to eat 2 LBs. Why he posts to A.S.D.Low-Carb when he is to low carb like Usama bin Laden is to the American way of life, is anyone's guess. I suspect he'd fare better in alt.support.diet, where folks are a little more open to the same ole same ole. Surely Chung, in posting to asdlc, has his own reward.
-Hollywood, whose favorite New Testament Bible section is the Sermon on the Mount, as recounted by Matthew. In fact, my all time favorite piece is...
Matthew 6:5-15 "And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are; for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, they have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions as the heathen do; for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. But not ye therefore like unto them; for your Father knowest what things ye have need of, before ye ask him."

Quack, the hypocrite, prays in these ngs so that he "may be seen of men". And the heathen is also guilty of using vain repetitions so that he shall be heard for his much speaking.
Quack is a vain person trying to appear to be better than others by being closer to God than the rest of us. But his constant public repetition of religious homilies clearly show his vanity, hipocracy and heathenism and is seen by all for what it is.

Bob (this one) - 28 Oct 2005 01:15 GMT > All fear and no substance since you are absent here in Paradise. Being absent is like not stepping in a cow pie. No fear. Plenty of substance. Just don't want to spend a lot of time wiping it off.
Perhaps the Chungster missed this:

When you get deep into it, JC was pretty likable. I blame St. Paul, but it must have been pretty rough being epileptic in the first century. -Hollywood 264/229/218

Being absent after an invitation is like avoiding the light of day because of photophobia (fear of light).

Being absent from an egotist's masturbatory self-congratulations is wise. Invitation or not.
But I truly love your assistance in vocabulary development. Bwah...

Andrew B. Chung, MD/PhD - 31 Oct 2005 01:38 GMT > It will more likely be the Chunginator's 2LB-OMER plan. That would depend on the attendees. If folks want to chat about the 2PD-OMER Approach, I would be more than happy to oblige.

Those who are failing to lose weight LCing simply dovetail their LC diet with the 2PD-OMER Approach to succeed.

At the risk of getting in dutch with Matt 7, I think you are missing the beam as well. If people are ready to quit on LC, they probably will look for something else to do, and they will probably do it away from the people in alt.SUPPORT.diet.LC. So, you're fishing where the well is likely nearly dry.
The junk at the end of every post of yours, starting with "In the Lord's service" is clearly at odds with JC's (both der Nazarene and der Koenig) philosophy. Put it in the closet, like JC suggests. Also, I wonder how .sig files jibe with the part about vain repetitions. Verily, you have your reward, Chung.

maxlharris@gmail.com - 01 Nov 2005 21:16 GMT > It remains my choice to refrain from judging others. I'm not a Christian, so I will judge. I judge you to have failed in even this claim. Your very presence in asdlc is submitted as evidence. You don't like LC. You judge, inherently, those on LC diets to be doing things wrong, and thus junk the joint up with your tired 2PD-OMER approach, which has as much science behind it as the belief that haemoglobin is simply too complicated to have evolved gradually. I'm not saying you have that goofy belief, but it's the scientific equivalent of 2PD-OMER.
Take a step back Chung, judge yourself. Weigh against how JC would live your life. Get back to us on the results. Or don't.
