I've read that Tamiflu is the drug to take in case of symptoms.

This thing is spreading in Eastern Europe, and now Western Europe is
stockpiling huge doses of Tamiflu drug doses.

How should we react to this ? Reminds me to get my regular flu shot
though soon, real soon.

Are we supposed to talk to our doctor for a dose of Tamiflu or a public
health agency in our community ?

Thanks

Tamiflu is supposedly to be taken after contracting the avian bug.
There is no vaccine yet. Promoting Tamiflu either by scaring sh.t out
of everyone is the main activity of MNCs. Just read CDC & WHO updates
on the net

When you say "this thing" is spreading in Eastern Europe, what the news
reports are about is that it is spreading among *birds* in Eastern
Europe. Avian flu is still not showing any tendency to be transmitted
from human to human. Unless/until it finds a way to do this it won't
cause an epidemic in humans.
