Physicians Surveyed Favor Restrictions on Prescription Drug Ads

A majority of physicians (81%) recently surveyed favor prohibitions on
direct-to-consumer advertising for prescription drugs for a period of
time after the Food and Drug Administration has approved a new drug,
according to the market research firm HRA Research.

Do they favor prohibitions on direct-to-consumer ads for over the counter
drugs not needing a prescription?
