Did anybody in this group see the movie Constantine?  At the beginning they
show an x-ray  of the hero's lung cancer, which shows the masses very
clearly, and the calcifications even moreso.  How accurate was that image,
as a representation of a true lung cancer x-ray?

Not at all.

Would you happen to have a link to a real x-ray that shows a fatal lung
cancer, shortly before the patient's death?

Is there some reason you are unable to use Google?

If you don't want the job, don't do it.

I didn't mean it to be insulting; I asked the question because I wanted to
know if there is some reason you are unable to use Google.  It's a
reasonable question, since you keep asking for information you could easily
obtain by googling.

I have a couple of more questions that I'll be posting in the next few
days, and if you don't like them, don't answer them.  And if you want to
answer them, feel free to attach as much snide innuendo as you want.  The
fee you charge is still cheaper than paying a doctor for three minutes of
patronizing vanity, and at least you're honest about your hatred for the
patient.

The reasons behind your communication problems with your doctors are
becoming increasinly clear, John.

The pointing finger of accusation, Howard.

Yes, as I implied, that's how I assess it too, John.

Sweetie, you're the one with the snide innuendo here.  I'm a lowly nursing
student.  To get those links, I went to www.google.com and entered "lung
cancer x-ray" and up popped links to the images I posted here.  I doubt
you'll get much help here in the future.

Sweetie, I'll just post under another username, and no one will be the
wiser.  You guys may be the medical literati, but I'm the computer whiz.
Besides, you don't honestly expect me to take anyone seriously whose
name is O'Hush, and tells me to shut up.

I didn't tell you to shut up.  Here's the thing:  It's like you're looking
at the ground and asking us what color the sky is, and we're saying, "Look
up."  You're obviously sitting at a computer with access to the internet,
and you asked for links to lung cancer x-rays (no mysterious medical jargon
there).  I get that you didn't know what a Nissen wrap is, etc., but all of
the medical and surgical terms associated with Barrett's are available on
the patient education pages devoted to Barrett's esophagus that pop up when
you google "Barrett's esophagus."  I know because I looked.  I said to
myself, "He doesn't seem stupid, just rude.  Maybe he doesn't know how to
use Google and needs help learning how."

And yes, here you can shed your identity and start over.  Maybe eventually
you'll try a more effective means of communicating.  Good luck with your
Barrett's.

Looks a LOT like the one in the movie.
