Just wondering if anyone can offer a couple tips:
I have just returned from 5 days of camping, in which, not once, did I have a
bowel movement. This was not because I couldn't (ie. constipation) it was
becasue I chose not too. I was embarassed to be having a bowel movement in a
public place so I held it. By day three, I really, really had to go.
Unfortunately, the bathroom was full of small girls and their mothers getting
ready for bed, so again I did not go. Within an hour, I felt so sick, I wasnt
sure which end it would come out. I felt as if I could have a bowel movement
any minute or I would be vomitting. Once again though, when I made it to the
bathroom, it was still full of girls getting ready for bed.
Anyways, to make a long story short, I have since retured home where I can
have as many and often bowel movements (which I was expecting since I usually
go every 1 to 1.5 days), and I havent had one. My friend did the same thing
and held it for the same amount of time and has gone 3 times in the last 24
hours. I do not feel constipated at all. I just dont have anything to
discreet. My stomach is terribly hard and when I ate dinner, I felt full
almost immediately after only a few bites.
I dont want to take a laxative, and would much rather perfer a home remedy
using everyday kitchen stuff.
But I am open to try any idea to make me feel better!
Thanks for all your help.

I bet if you buy some Russell Stover sugar free candy and eat three pieces,
you will have the desired action. Just be sure to stay home .

Tip 1: ask your pharmacist for a fecal softener.
Tip 2: in future, don't ignore the desire to defecate.

A stool softener is too little, too late. Instead, a nice Fleets enema
is in order.

I hesitate to recommend anything stronger in case he has recently decorated
his bathroom.
