>> Is there such a thing in the body as a 'nail growth factor' hormone?

That is a commercial site, trying to sell something.
If you have some scientific evidence, please post it. But the
suggestion above makes no sense. The things you list are quite
unrelated, and it would be remarkable if silica were involved with any
of them, much less all of them. I quickly checked PubMed, which is
where there would be any info if any existed. I did look very hard,
but nothing popped up quickly. Try more, if you wish.
Unless you can come up with evidence, this is best treated as a scam.
Unfortunately, folks who sell these things are unregulated, and can
take advantage of the gullible. Things which make no sense are
usually not true. Be skeptical. If there is evidence, present it.
(Or are you a diatom?? :- Diatoms do remarkable things with silica!)
As to the original question... I know of no evidence for anything
specific of the type you ask for.

Jason is, as usual, giving medical advice, even though he has no
business doing so. He's promised before that he'd stop doing it, but
clearly the lure of trying to show off his "knowledge" is too strong.
