Hi all

In June last year, I had a quadruple coronary artery bypass graft. During my
recovery, I had to have cardioversion twice due to arrythmias.

Since the operation, I've been persistently dizzy. This was made worse by a
mild stroke that I suffered in March this year.

Has anyone any ideas for getting rid of the dizziness? It's affecting my
ability to concentrate.

Please help

perhaps some occupational therapy?
to readjust your proprioceptive "memory"?

ask a rehab specialist.

or see The NYU Rusk Institute
one of the best.

but DO NOT go to the NYU Adult ADHD Center,
if you value your life, just my opinion, of course.

COMMENT:

We can't diagnose dizziness over the internet. However, dizziness can
be caused as a seqeullae of both bypass or stroke. Treatment in that
case is a rehab program, plus a lot of anti-platelet drugs to keep you
from having more of such strokes (provided that the one you had was the
non-bleeding kind).

Start seeing some doctors. You already should have a cardiologist and a
neurologist. The neurologist in this case will be the most useful.
