Hi all,
I am one of those few men who experience little or no sexual drive. If
I mechanically stimulate my penis I can get an erection and have sexual
intercourse but I derive no pleasure from it, and of course I do not
ejaculate. Sometimes I can manage to masturbate but it takes me a lot
of effort and most of the times I don't succeed. My question is: can I
use IVF? If they give me a cup and show me a room, I most likely won't
be able to masturbate there and then. So there are only two
alternatives I can think of: 1) I could try to masturbate at home, and
when I succeed I will bring the sperm to the clinic. Is this allowed?
2) The sperm could be surgically taken from me.
Is either of these alternatives feasible?
Thanks,
Bruno

The answer is "yes" to both of your questions. I would, however, be
interesting in knowing why you cannot "function". You may have a
condition involving your endocrine glands, either the testicles; or,
more likely the pituitary gland.
I would check with a good specialist (endocrinologist or urologist) in
order to find out. It is possible that such an illness could be
life-threatening; and, even if it was not, it might be treatable so
that you could have a normal sex life.
Best,
Bob
