Wow
I had (have) a bad cold and upper respiratory thing three weeks ago. I
don't feel like I have the bug anymore, no chil or sniffles, but I
still have a bit of a cough.
Interestingly, and this has never happened to me before after a cold,
I cannot smell or taste anything. I was in Sedona and the Grand
Canyon last week, and while my travel buddies could easily smell the
smoke from the local forest fires, I could not.
I didn't use any remedys for nasal congestion
Any ideas. When should I start worrying?
I love to cook, If I can't smell or tatse what I'm cooking, I'm in
trouble.

I did use Zicam twice at the onset of the cold to hopefully make it
les severe as I had a vacation trip planned

A couple of times I have lost my sense of smell because of a bad cold. I
have never taken Zicam, and you taking it twice may not be enough to cause
any problems. The cold just messes up your sense of smell... after a couple
of weeks it should came back. It is not that uncommon, it IS a bit
freaky... just be patient.
