An Elusive Brainwave State?

Anybody here with any experience in neurology? I've been trying to master 7 Hz
theta through biofeedback, but I can't seem to hold it for no more than a few
days. Does anyone
have any clue as to why this is?

My doctors aren't doing anything, but I would like a professional opinion on why I
am only getting marginal success with my biofeedback attempts.
