My friend's brother thought it was from working at the computer; I think
she said it was nagging, constant and worsening. (It wasn't positional, but
he noticed it more when at rest). He had pancreatic cancer.
If you're a younger man, I would think it reasonable to talk to your doctor
about this..
And if nothing found, see a physiotherapist.

And Ryan has grown determined to spread the news about testicular cancer.
His own cancer wasn't diagnosed for six months after symptoms emerged. He
was a competitive golfer and doctors thought his back pain was an athletic
injury. It was the tumour pressing on nerves.
An MRI and CT scan confirmed he did not have disc problems.
His lower body had swollen -- a condition later attributed to the tumour
blocking the flow of blood back to his heart. By then, the cancer had
spread to his abdomen and chest.

I'm 23.... the back pain started very, very quick. One minute I was
standing, hadn't been doing much heavy lifting...no more than 15 pounds
and not for long. The next minute I was having fairly severe back pain
in the area below my left shoulder blade and was scrambling for the car
to try and sit down. I just have a couple of the other symptoms of
pancreatic cancer...some weight loss, abdominal pain, and am mildly
concerned. My only hope is that it came on in a matter of seconds and
does get worse if I move...head down, left arm over my head, etc is
worse..hopefully something else. If pancreatic cancer is as untreatable
as I have read, I'd rather not even see a doctor.

Sometimes curable by surgery, if caught early and depending on the location
(is my non-doctor understanding).
I don't want to send you to a doctor for unnecessary tests, if all you've
got is some gastro upset and a pulled muscle. Nobody here can see in your
body.
It's your decision as to whether to talk to your doctor (or not)
