It seems every morning after I drink a can of Pepsi, a spot on my side
it feels like very frequently someone is lightly but firmly and quickly
poking me from the inside, as if a very little person is stuck inside
of me and think my love handle is a door they are supposed to knock on
to get out. Today its more irritating than ever. Not really painful at
all, but it sure is irritating! When I looked at it I was really
disturbed: my left love-handle looked like it was beating like a heart!
That doesn't seem like a good sign! I can feel it beating as well.
It seems like it happens from 1 to five times at random intervals,
maybe once every 30 seconds on average. It seems like I can feel and
see it across about a square inch of skin area, right below the
thickest part of my love-handle bulge, which isn't very thick since I'm
skinny, almost but not quite at that v-shaped pelvis line.
Should I see a doctor, or just stop drinking Pepsi in the morning? Any
opinions appreciated.
Thanks,
James

That is not your love-handle hurting, but your kidney! Among other
things, the kidneys are responsible for removing toxins out of the
fluids in your body. If your kidneys stopped working, you would shrivel
up and die a slow, painful death.
Too much sugar is definitely not good for your kidneys! I know this to
be true, but you can check out books on TCM (Traditional Chinese
Medicin) and they will tell you the same thing. I think you should
definitely stop drinking Pepsi, or switch to Diet Pepsi which has other
disadvantages because of artificial sweeteners added.
Thanks,

This is complete bullshit, of course. I hope the OP won't actually believe
that his rather bizarre constellation of symptoms is actually his kidney
beating or that the sugar in Pepsi Cola is about to destroy his kidneys.

I love your description. Perhaps it is actually correct?
