Dairy Crest supplements milk range

Milk to yogurts group Dairy Crest has entered the growing market for
"functional" foods with the launch of an Omega-3 fish oil enriched
milk aimed at parents with young children.
The company unveiled the product alongside full-year results that
showed underlying profits down 1pc to £84.2m.
Chief executive Drummond Hall said the milk, called St Ivel Advance,
"has been in development for just over two years. It tastes like fresh
milk and is priced at a 30pc-40pc premium to fresh milk."
"We will have full national distribution by September for the
back-to-school season," he said, citing "an increasing body of
evidence" that the supplement improves concentration in children.
