Hello, my allergist says I am allergic
(dry/running eyes, coughing, clear mucus etc.)
The problem is, he doesn't know what. He says
I have idiopathic (allergies).
I even went through the woods, weeds, and
grassland last week...nothing. I have been
around cats, dogs, animals, and nothing
that I can tell.
We have tried all the tests, and even blood
tests, and I still dont know what I'm allergic
too. It seems, I have had this for the past
10-15 years, based on my history. Also, it is
not dust mites. I have also moved to many
different houses, so its not the mold from
any particular house.
What I'm wondering is, how many things can
a person be allergic too? I have even heard
of unusual allergies, like to wood, metals
or even plastics and paints.
How do I find out what I'm allergic too?
I've even tried going on a water diet, just
to see if I was allergic to something in the
food I eat!
Any comments would be most appreciated!

You can be allergic to almost anything.

Keep a detailed log of your daily activities and when your allergies flare
up. Note where you were, what you were doing, who you were with, what you
ate, drank, etc. Maybe a pattern will emerge.
