About 3-4 weeks ago I started with itching at my waist left of my belly
button. There was never anything there, just itching. Since Sunday
that area has a decrease in sensation and now wraps around to my back
and up about 2-3 inches. There is no rash, blisters, nothing. I hate to
go to the Dr. when there isn't anything there to see. At first I
thought I maybe be getting shingles but so far nothing. I haven't
changed soaps, or lotions, or added new foods, nothing has really
changes except this itching.
Anyone have any ideas what maybe going on?
Thanks,
Janie

You'd know with that. I've heard it's excruciating. (Like most
neuralgias.)

I am wondering if I could have a neuralgia my stomach skin has become
so senitive that even the elastic on my underwear hurts. I have had
facial neuralgia (from herpes) and trigeminal neuralgia and it is
somewhat the same as far as the skin sensitivity but with herpes in a
few days the blisters would occur and I would have some relief. But so
far nothing with this. I was also wondering if I could have pulled a
muscle or ripped some muscles fibers. Any ideas would be helpful.
Thanks,
Janie

I don't have clue what's going on.
But I know you need a first-rate doctor.
