Could somebody please tell me what the underside of a healthy tongue is supposed to look like? The reason I ask is because mine has a few tiny nodules protruding fron the underside. They are soft and pink and irregular in formation. Is this normal or is it some kind of abnormal growth? A couple of them became inflamed and tender, but it went away. I was thinking of mentioning it to my MD when I returned home and went to see him about my girl stuff. Savvycat... The only reason I noticed mine is because one got inflamed last week too and it scared me. I'm probably just being a hypochondriac here and will ask my dentist next time I'm in but wanted to know if it merited an earlier appointment.
