I got that reaction when I tried sudafed ... I woke up in the middle of
the night wanting to run accross the city... I took look a the side of
the package and one of the side-effects was "anxiety" or something like
that... this was two years ago

I remember now, it was "extreme excitablity"

Tylenol Cold and Flu nighttime contains pseudophedrine (the activite
ingredient in Sudafed), which has this side effect in some, but not all,
people.

Yes, that's it exactly! Thanks for putting a name to what I went
through. Now that I know what it's called I did a search and came up
with this interesting story, which sounds exactly like what happened to
me:

"May cause excitability, especially in children" is a pretty mild
warning compared to what I actually felt like. It was 1:00 a.m. and I
wanted to run a marathon. The time before was even worse. I did push
ups until I was physically exhausted, but I was still wired. And I
kept having these tingling "waves" of enery rush through my body. Very
weird stuff.
Thanks again,
Dan.
