This may sound dumb but here it goes.. I was eating popcorn and I was
not paying attention and tossed a half sized peice of popcorn in my
mouth, it went into my throat, and I swallowed real quick.. but I am
worried maybe it went down the wrong way. Is there any way to find out
for sure if it did? Ive been kinda worried about it for the past few
hours.

If it had gone down the wrong way, you'l be coughing your head off right
now. If you're not coughing, and breathing OK, then it's likely you can
relax.

There is a valve to close passage to lung when you swallow. There are
valves in your body to block certain channel for safety reason - Can a
male pees when he is fully erected? It can really annoying when you
have erection during sleep and have to wake up, wait for it to go soft
or have to pee in bath tub if you are too sleepy to wait and wake up in
panic with bloody nose when your wife punches it with full force?

fact that it caught me off guard i didnt intentionally throw it back
there hehe thanks for the responses

I can pee with a full erection. There is no "valve" to prevent this.
There may certainly be neuronal inhibition, but no anatomic valve.

I am not able to urinate when I have a full erection. I seem to recall
from a sex education class that most men can not urinate when they have a
full erection. The teacher told us that this is to prevent urine from
getting combined with sperm.

I think there really is an anatomic valve.  I remember learning about it in
the urology section of a physiology class. For me, it's actually painful if
I try to force peeing with an erection.  Your valve doesn't seem to be
working  properly.  You may want to get that checked out. :-)
