Just a > regular x ray with no contrast? I am sorry to inform you that no amount of information you provide here or questions you present here can be fully answered. You need to let things work out completely in terms of diagnostic workup. If you are not happy with the final diagnosis then by all means get a second or even a third opinion. I would caution that even if it comes out benign or reactive, a wrong diagnosis can be made for a variety of reasons. Unfortunately variables exist that sometimes with time they become more evident. A doctor can review your chart and add additional tests if necessary to concur with a diagnosis. Short of that one is only guessing. "Short of that one is only guessing." Not nearly as fine a reality. I was just wondering because I had several abdominal x rays last year as part of a transit study for constipation and bloating. A friend of mine one a case such as that. But I just hope you don't have lymphoma, or anything bad. It would be very unlikely to detect enlarged abdominal lymph nodes on a routine abdominal x-ray. I know polycythimia is not cancer per sea but I thought somehow it was similar to leukemia, which I thought was related to lymphoma?
