Yes--esp. colds and flu. That's why medical experts tell people to wash
their hands very often to keep from getting colds and flu. It's too
prevent people from coming into contact saliva and other body secretions
on door knobs and in bathrooms--esp. public bathrooms (aka restrooms).

The overall effect of kissing to health might be positive, though. Deep
kissing make you secrete mood elevating endorphins. Along with higher
secretion of endophins, stress hormones decrease.
