Hello,
Never had any foot issues until recently so I'm out of my element here
and hoping for advice.
Late last year I got a new job in a big building that involved
significantly more walking than I had been used to. I had been wearing
work boots for years without any issue. But the extra walking resulted
in bumps right above my heal on each foot that hurt when the back of
the work boots rubbed up against them.
So I switched to walking shoes a few months ago in search of relief.
They're better in that there's no more pain. But the bumps haven't gone
away and I can still feel an uncomfortable sensation sometimes, usually
when my shoes are off. They're about the size of a dime -- sometimes
red and sometimes not.
I believe that these shoes are the right size -- there's room in front
of my toes. But I'm concerned about the bumps -- I figured they'd go
away. Should I be concerned? I'm not walking around nearly as much at
work these days as I was a few months ago and it's still not getting
better.
Thanks,
James
