Found more info about William Sargant, Arnie Lerma's source of "wisdom"

Wonder if that happened to the anti-religious extremists that posts on
ARS?

There you see what psychs experiment with! Sargant makes it look like a
warning, but as he was so fanatical in trying to de-religionize people,
I assume he wanted to give tips to his collegues as to how to get
religion out of people.

Those psychs are rotten to the core.

No ... but the actions of religous extremists certainly point to that
possiblity with them.
