Hi,

About two weeks ago I started to experience lower back pain while
sleeping.  I can't pinpoint sleeping any differently.  Why won't my back
hurt while upright?

Dan

back pain whilst sleeping can point to several things and the
following issues must be taken into account...

any trauma
your age
pain anywhere else (other joints, feet or eyes)
family history of similar
morining stiffness
change in lifestyle
progression of symptoms

there are more but this will do to start

I have gained weight so maybe I added a marginal pound that broke the
camels back.  I am trying to reduce my weight.
