I recently got ringworm on my arm. It actually started out as one
large ring that was about 2 inches in diameter, then converted into two
smaller rings about .75 inches in diameter.
I tried applying tea tree oil and got no noticeable results.
I am currently trying Miconazole Nitrate spray, I see white patchy
spots now, which I assume is dead fungus, but I'm not able to comfirm
since the fundamental rings are still staying on my skin.
Is there any medical evidence of a particular treatment being superior?
Is Clotrimazole better? Any other OTC products?
Thanks you!
PS. Are there any OTC anti-fungal soaps? What is the best preventative
mechanism for avoiding fungal infections of the skin?

Ringworm is nothing more than a fungal infection. It is exactly the
same as athelets foot just with a more sinister name. Any over the
counter medicines that treat athelets foot will treat ringworm.

.... be sure to use the anit-fungal for the recomended time.. even if
the rings appear to be gone.. even though there is no ring left .. it
could come back or spread.

Lamisil cream is the best thing I have found. It works faster than the
others. It is a little more expensive. Stay away from Lamisil pills (a
prescription medication).
