rectum smells

I am having a very embarrassing condition for more than 8 years. It
looks like a strange disease. I didn't call it a disease because the
few doctors I have seen about this problem could not tell what it was.
I feel it is the raw meat type of smell came out of my anus(rectum)
most of the time. It is not fart because I will not have any sensation
when it happens. Fart means we will have a sensation. The problem gets
worse after meals and bowel movements, but much better after physical
activities. Because of this embarrassing smell, I have been trying to
avoid being close to other people. My husband thinks I am afraid of
intimacy since I always have to keep some distance between us. He
mentioned several times that I had a strange body odor. But I know it
is not BO but something much worse because it is out of my control. It
would be so embarrassing. I have seen a gastroenterologist also, they
thought what I am suffering is a strange problem and did all kinds of
tests like colonoscopy, endoscopy etc. Nothing has found in the tests.
They were giving me medicines for the depression, which is not helping
me either. What's exactly wrong with me? I am an otherwise healthy
woman and have no GI problem diagnosed except for light IBS. Another
relevant factor is that I always have a light burning feeling in my
rectum/anus area (though my doctor told me I have hemorrhoids) whenever
the smell is present. It is not life threatening, but it's so
embarrassing and annoying that I would rather have a life threatening
disease. I would like to know whether you guys have any info on this
disease.  I feel inflammation around my rectal and colon area mostly
and some times around my penis and buttocks and also it will be more
whenever I sit on any chair at office or sit in my car etc.   If this
disease bothers me alone, I would not have cared that much.  But that
odor is bothering too much even for others. I have also found that
smell comes very often when I am under stress like if going to
socialize or say if I am meeting some new people or work pressure. This
illness is leaving me restless and sick. And I can't socialize or do
anything. It makes me like real sick. Every doctor says there is
nothing but I do feel that some smell is coming out on which I don't
have any control.  I can feel the smell when I am going in a car.  I
can feel it but I have no clue how it's coming out.  I am not passing
any gas and that I am 100% sure.   I am not sure whether the smell is
related to the inflammation or not, but it makes me real sick and
losing interest on life some times. If any of you can help me with any
information I will be more than grateful to you.  Could somebody help
me with this?  So I kindly urge you if any of you has any info please
let me know or personally e-mail me. Thanks a lot for reading through
this.  I really appreciate your help. A desperate woman.

Thanks in advance.

I suggest that you ask your doctor to refer you to a specialist
that treats problems like this--they specialize in
Gastroenterology (Stomach, Intestines and Liver).

If you're a woman with a smelly penis, I think you have bigger problems
than stink a.s.

Thanks for your suggestions.   I went to all the doctors and did all
the exams. They said, everything is normal.   They could not find
anyproblem.  It all comes from the rectum only.  Once for colonoscopy
exam, I got to clean the my colon.  It cleaned from stomach thru colon.
Even then I have a smell from the rectum.    I really appreciate your
help. Please let me know if you any questions and help me in recovery.

I think  you need to see a mental health specialist. I think the problem is
above your neck, not below it.

I am wondering if you have a gynecological problem, a bacterial or yeast
infection. You should see you gynicologist.

She said her a.shole smells, not her twat. I'm assuming (maybe incorrectly)
that she knows the difference.

She also said she has a feeling of inflammation around her penis. She is
either a troll or not too well aware of  anatomy.

Maybe "she's" a tranny. This might explain the rectal smell. Vigorous and
extensive sodomy will do this.

Jeff,
Several weeks ago--somebody was playing a joke on us about suicide--it was
a long story. I responded and referred her for help. Someone else posted a
message indicating that the person that posted the message has a hobby of
posting all sorts of weird messages in newsgroups--A weird hobby. Perhaps
this is the same person or someone else like her that gets their rocks off
by posting weird messages. Each time that people like us respond--they
probably get some sort pleasure.

I am a perfect woman. Now understood what I wrote. I did a cut and of
the symptoms from a different patient. I have the same symptoms what
the other patient has. I am extremely sorry for cut and paste problem.
I have forgotton to erase that word.  I found same symtoms another
person having it.  But I could not find any good suggestions for it. So
I have posted it again.  I really appreciate your help.  I really
appreciate if you could give me some suggestions for the recovery or
know somebody who have these problems and how they had recovered it.

Try wiping your a.s.

Correct, it's called insanity.

You will get similar results from a brain scan.

NOW we're getting closer. Antidepressants maybe, but try some
anti-psychotics too.

What's exactly wrong with me?

You are mentally ill.

Yes, he's right.

You do have one - severe mental illness.

Gender disassociation. Does you husband know about this?

You probably are also agoraphobic and sh.t yourself when you go out.

You feel smell? Can you taste what I'm thinking?

I can feel the smell when I am going in a car.

DO NOT "GO" in your car. You'll never get the smell out.

> I am a perfect woman.

A perfect loony that is.

I really appreciate your help.  I really
> appreciate if you could give me some suggestions for the recovery

Diagnosis: Mental Illness (various)
Treatment: Psychotherapy and medication.

Next case!

I first looked at the original post and was trying to be objective and
understanding, but holy cow, I'm wiping tears from laughing my (not smelly)
a.s off.

I hope this manshe gets some help, either for his/her bum, or - like Jeff
said - the problem above its' neck
