My mother called me at work today, very excited that she had a "cure"
for my nail fungus.  She says she has a book that recommends applying
GARLIC to the nails each night.  Any comments on this one??? I REALLY
don't want to go to bed every night smelling GARLIC!

It's worth a try--perhaps you could cut a baggie into sections and tape
the plastic on the nail. The plastic should keep the odor from offending
yourself and other people. The doctor could probably prescribe some lotion
that may solve the problem. Have you tried the lotions that are designed
to treat athlete's feet? It might work better than garlic and smell much
better.
