john - 25 Feb 2005 09:21 GMT A lie exposed by Dr Donegan: "Before 1988 (when the MMR was introduced) more than half the acute measles deaths occurred in previously healthy children who had not been immunised," ------Immunisation against infectious diseases HMSO London 1996 para 22.1.5, p126, ----as pointed out by Dr Donegan: [Letter BMJ Feb 2005. Measles deaths & Autism diagnosis] http://www.whale.to/a/donegan.html
This is a lie as the stated reference source: C L MILLER. Deaths from measles in England and Wales, 1970-83. British Medical Journal, Vol 290, 9 February 1985 states "No attempt was made to establish further clinical details, vaccination history, or social class." http://www.whale.to/a/miller_c.html
kyernurse - 25 Feb 2005 17:16 GMT John, Since the vaccination thing is just one big governmental conspiracy, can you explain one thing to me... Fact: Egyptian mummies show evidence of smallpox dating back to 2500bc. Smallpox has killed countless millions of people throughout history. Fact: Immunization against smallpox has relegated the virus to laboratories in the US and Russia. The last reported outbreak was in Somalia in 1977, the last in the US in 1949. Vaccination is credited with the demise of this killer. Question: How is it that without vaccination, this disease went unchecked for thousands of years and shortly after a worldwide vaccination program went into effect it now only exists in test tubes?
What you are attempting to do is nothing new. You are not breaking new ground here. Say hi to Mary C. Hume-Rothery if you see her. Never heard of her? Google it.

John says that all diseases like that were wiped out by better sanitation. He denies your facts.

Hadn't registered on my radar--I did google to find an article translated by her http://www.whale.to/a/keller.html One I had done.
I expect you haven't heard of the real vaccine critics, like Creighton MD, Collins MD, Hadwen MD, Tebb, Wallace etc http://www.whale.to/vaccine/smallpox.html who demolished vaccination conclusively, mainly with government statistics.
I extracted their comments in easy to read quotes http://www.whale.to/a/quotes.html to save you the time of reading the dozen or so books.
And Dr Mack, one of your top smallpox experts, let the cat out of the bag recently, saying what all the vaccine critics have said for over 100 years---poverty, mostly poor sanitation was the main cause of smallpox. As the noble citizens of Leicester PROVED http://www.whale.to/a/biggsext.html And take note that 1,300 LESS child deaths occured every year in Leicester under sanitation/no vaccination, most of them killed by vaccination. "If people are worried about endemic smallpox, it disappeared from this country not because of our mass herd immunity. It disappeared because of our economic development. And that's why it disappeared from Europe and many other countries, and it will not be sustained here, even if there were several importations, I'm sure. It's not from universal vaccination."----Dr. Mack
"I again like you do not worship Louis Pasteur and I consider Edward Jenner to be one of the great criminals of history."---Dr. A. Ward of the Pathology Dept, University of Hong Kong (in a letter to Dr Kalokerinos).
Jeff - 26 Feb 2005 15:14 GMT >> What you are attempting to do is nothing new. You are not breaking new >> ground here. Say hi to Mary C. Hume-Rothery if you see her. Never heard [quoted text clipped - 19 lines] > recently, saying what all the vaccine critics have said for over 100 > years---poverty, mostly poor sanitation was the main cause of smallpox. There is more poverty in this world than ever before. Santitation is not everywhere. In fact, I think there are more people who have sanitation than those who don't. And in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, and South America, poverty is rampant. And there is are still some very poor people in the US and Mexico.
Yet, smallpox is no longer seen..
> As > the noble citizens of Leicester PROVED http://www.whale.to/a/biggsext.html > And take note that 1,300 LESS child deaths occured every year in Leicester > under sanitation/no vaccination, most of them killed by vaccination. There is no question that poverty makes any disease worse. And getting people who of poverty saves lives.
> "If people are worried about endemic smallpox, it disappeared from this > country not because of our mass herd immunity. It disappeared because of [quoted text clipped - 3 lines] > several importations, I'm sure. It's not from universal > vaccination."----Dr. Mack So , why did it disappear from other countries?

Which begs for an answer to the question... In light of the information listed below, obviously the poor sanitation and poverty have not been solved in many areas of the world, so where's the Smallpox? It's still only found in laboratories in the US and Russia. Why isn't smallpox running rampant through the Republic of Congo, one of the poorest nations on earth with little or no infrastructure to support sanitary living conditions? How about the world-wide stage?
"About 1.2 billion people still have no access to safe drinking water, and 2.4 billion do not have adequate sanitation services. Some 2 million children die every year from water-related diseases. In the poorest countries, one in five children dies before the age of five mainly from water-related infectious diseases arising from insufficient water availability, in both quantity and quality." "Some 6,000 children die every day from diseases associated with lack of access to safe drinking water, inadequate sanitation and poor hygiene" WEHAB Working Group, "A Framework for Action on Water and Sanitation", World Summit on Sustainable Development - Johannesburg 2002 - United Nations, August 1, 2002, Num. 0,

He's got "explanations" for anything.
Well, almost anything. When faced with any inconvenient facts for which he has no canned refutation, he falls back on the tried and true method of sticking his fingers in his ears and screaming that he can't hear you. It's inspirational. He used to be a little bit rational, but this has evaporated over the years.

kyernurse - 27 Feb 2005 23:14 GMT David, appreciate your comments but I simply enjoy sparring with an untalented opponent. I even tried to help him with the name of one of his predecessors (Mary C. Hume-Rothery) and advised him to Google the name. He couldn't even do that right. He couldn't find http://www.library.ucla.edu/libraries/biomed/smallpox/antivac.html by himself. If ignorance is bliss this guy is a regular Mr. Happy. Caution, avoidance of vaccination schedule causes microcephaly.
I admire your tenacity, kyernurse...

kyernurse - 01 Mar 2005 03:19 GMT John, if mummy finds out you've cracked NetNanny and you're playing on the internet again she'll surely smack your arse!

kyernurse - 01 Mar 2005 15:11 GMT I don't need an argument. I'm having the time of my life here at your expense. It's fun and I have just gotten started.
john - 01 Mar 2005 20:26 GMT > I don't need an argument. I'm having the time of my life here at your > expense. It's fun and I have just gotten started. Whatever turns you on, glad to help out. See if you can come up with something I haven't heard before
kyernurse - 01 Mar 2005 21:08 GMT I'm sure you've heard it all before, you just never listened.
john - 02 Mar 2005 06:58 GMT > I'm sure you've heard it all before, you just never listened. I listen to arguments but you just said you don't have one. Are you a nurse or a patient?

I guess some people are stupid enough to believe anything. Of course, this web site is so stupid that the author is ashamed to put her name on it. I can't blame her. I mean, clearly she doesn't have a clue about science, medicine or vaccines.
again, thanks for the laugh
