I have observed 33% to 43% employees of at least six multinationals in India having a Body Mass Index (BMI) above 25. Most multinationals perceive Indian work-force as starved and were reluctant to curtail sumptuous free meals which are considered as good incentives! Obesity related or life-style related problems have by far exceeded occupational disorders.
