Hi everyone I have a bulged disk at L5-S1 into my spine and scared to
get worse, and the two joints on the left near the disks hurt and my
Muscle there also are not getting better after 1 year I'm in physio
and trying the reformer but I get the sciatic back down my left leg,
and I get to scard to try harder. I feel the more I try to get better
the worse I get. I'm 39 year old lady I used to weigh 125 now I'm at
135-140 I go up and down those 5 lbs. The drugs I'm on depression
pills and spasm pill endocet for the bad days. I can't believe
someone can get past thinking about the pain. I can't I have no short
term memory that drives me crazy. Is there hope for me. I want to get
better but I can't stand the pain. What am I doing wrong? :?

I do have a similar problem as shown by MRI. Improved only with walking
using high quality soft shoes. I am off drugs but avoid forward bending
or lifting. I am not on any other physiotherapy stuff. MRI tends to
exaggerate the picture a bit & it's not always the end of the road.
Good luck

Have you considered a laminectomy? Ask your orthopedist. It worked very well
for me. A bulging disk is no problem in this day and age.
