I am having lower right quadrent pain.I have been having this pain for
3 days now. This is really bothering me.I am in school right now and
can't afford to miss any school if I have to have an appendectomy.I
can't stand the pain anymore. This has been going on since late 2004.I
have been to the doctor. The doctor has told me that I have an condition
called Chornic Appendicitist.Chronic Appendicitist is when your
appendix swells up and then it heals it's own self when it becomes
inflamed.I have been having attacks since December 2004. It is really
painful. Can someone please help me!!!

Chronic appendicitis can only be accurately diagnosed by microscopic exam
once it been taken out. Surely before making this diagnosis he has obtained
a CT scan with rectal contrast? This is highly accurate for acute
appendicitis, and acute appendicits has to be ruled out before the diagnosis
of chronic appendicitis can be made. Other possibilities include mesenteric
adenitis, ovarian cyst, pelvic inflammatory disease, diverticulitis, gall
bladder disease, pneumonia.
No, no one here can help you. But, I'm not sure your doctor is doing a very
good job of helping you either.

Fever?
Vomiting?
Perhaps it is subclinical.
Perhaps is a psoas abcess. Those get missed.
