"Low dose aspirin increases the uric acid level by approximately
6% over time, and there is a 23% decrease in uric acid
clearance with 71 to 81 mg of aspirin, which is becoming more
prevalent because of the antiplatalet trailists' recommendation
for both primary and secondary prevention."

Best to make those lifestyle changes our doctor has been suggesting for
years: lose weight, exercise, eat wisely, stop smoking and employ
whatever behavioural and postural modifications the doc and physical
therapist advise.
All of these; along with ice, heat, self-massage and many more
modalities which we can learn, will be far less risky pain management
and disease control techniques.
