Dear all,

One of my cousins is currently suffering from ulcerative colitis and has
primary sclerosing cholangitis in an advanced stage. What are the current
medical treatment options?

Dear Dr. Dam,

This will be a little different than what you may expect, but try to get past
the scientific aspect of which there is none, and consider a layman's theory on
the cause of UC and crohns.
Perhaps the progress of the illness can be halted, I am not familiar with
treatments, but eliminating the cause should help.
I consider these to be manmade illnesses.
caused by someone the ill person knows (a friend or relative who is taking a
stimulant and is unaware  that it can transfer harm to another person by a
mind/body connection, literally).  And this in spite of distance, they can be
miles and miles apart, and still the symptoms occur.
My layman's theory on the cause of crohns and UC are on website
http://ascc.healingwell.com/info/gailfaq.htm
Strange and almost unbelievable, but forget science for a moment, and try to
relate to this.  It can help save his life.   It has no logic but these are
weird illnesses and respond to no logic.
In addition to the meds listed on the website, Xanax, Buspar, Depakote,
Flexeril, natural herbs with natural stimulants, kava kava, st johns wort,
SAM-E, etc etc etc will cause crohns or UC also.   We are inundated with
anti-depressants and other meds so it is not surprising that the incidence of
crohns or UC is rising and anyone has a very good chance of acquiring crohns or
UC.
Please try to relate to this, you may reverse the course of the liver illness.
Good Luck to you and your cousin.

Gail Michael
