Just curious as I am now having a lot of leg pain after having a lot of back
pain.
MRI (after back pain) did not indicate disk herniation but did indicate some
degeneration and bulging.
But the leg pain that has developed (since the MRI) is not how I imagined
disk-related leg pain to be. It hurts a lot behind my knee. It feels a bit
like tendinitis. It hurts when I bend my leg. It is not in the knee (the
pain, but behind it and a bit above it). I have also been lying down a lot
due to the back pain (that pain has lessened and I intend to lie down much
less). I worry about things like phlebitis or blood clot too. Yes, if it
continues I'll have to see a doctor. I don't feel a lump and there is no
swelling.
The pain is not tingling, numbness, or shooting. It does feel like some kind
of inflammation that gets aggravated when I flex the leg under me.
Anyway, I realize it is difficult in a newsgroup, but can anyone perhaps
shed some light on this? Does this even sound like disk-related pain?

Does this even sound like disk-related pain?
Yes, it does. But it also sounds like arthritis, tendonitis, torn cartilage,
cruciate ligament tear, Baker's cyst, osteochondritis dessicans,
osteomalacia, chondromalacia.
Really, you should see a doctor.
