Edward Headlam Greenhow was one of the great Victorian medical
researchers. When his friend Thomas Addison discovered a new and RARE
condition of the "suprarenal capsules" (adrenal glands), he was
well-placed to investigate it.

What followed was a survey of Addison's disease which has never been
bettered.

I have retyped his book. Even such typographical errors as
"threadyanor" have been left in place - this is a RETYPE, not a new
EDITION.

My own introduction is at http://wehner.org/addison/greenhow

The first, signed page is at http://wehner.org/addison/greenhow/i.htm
(copy given to Dr. Rindle).

The book begins at http://wehner.org/addison/greenhow/ii.htm

The whole medical collection can be obtained from
http://wehner.org/wehner.zip
