The medications probably have a lot to do with it. Chemo isn't always the
horror story it used to be.
But either way, in my completely non-authoritative opinion you should let
your mother do exactly as she pleases and be glad of it. Vibrant, feisty
"fighters" tend to stay alive. Sick, depressed people tend to die. Go with
the feisty thing.

Hair grows back, and in the meantime there are wigs. If her hair does fall
