I was using the treadmill a few days ago. It was fine. The next morning I
felt some pain in my leg on the inner thigh way up. I took it easy and it
went away.
Today I went on the treadmill and OUCH. Within 20 seconds I had to get off.
Since then, the pain is pretty bad. I can't even walk comfortably. I have no
idea why this has happened.
Does this sound like a groin pull?
Any suggestions on what to do?

See a doctor?
Considering that we can't examine you over the net, and you have no clue if
I am total lune, a doc, a nurse or a 12-year kid, should you really trust
our advice?

I vote for lune.
Yeah, I know --- but I'm curious to hear what others might think. If
necessary, I will see a doctor. I'm off from work for the next 3 days and
I'll try and rest it (along with some ice).

Here's what I think: I think it's spelled "loon" not "lune."
And I agree with the alleged lune/loon.

Hello, Jeff, I get problems from the least little bit of exercise. I use a
patch called "salonpas" which is very effective to alleviate the pain. When
you are laying down, put an ice pack on it.
(Perhaps you got onto the treadmill sideways and pulled something.)

Dee:
I think you were talking to me. I really can't figure out how it happened.
Just one of those old-age sudden no-warning no apparent reason muscle pull,
I THINK.
Anyway, I do have plenty of back problems (the treadmill really helps with
that) and it might be related. I go to P/T for the back, so I will certainly
be asking my P/T, as I limp in for today's session!
