[
[ For those of you who watch what you eat... Here's the
[ final word on nutrition and health. It's a relief to
[ know the truth after all those conflicting medical
[ studies.
[
[ 1. The Japanese eat very little fat and suffer fewer
[ heart attacks than the British or Americans.
[
[ 2. The Mexicans eat a lot of fat and suffer fewer heart
[ attacks than the British or Americans.
[
[ 3. The Japanese drink very little red wine and suffer
[ fewer heart attacks than the British or Americans
[
[ 4. The Italians drink excessive amounts of red wine and
[ suffer fewer heart attacks than the British or
[ Americans.
[
[ 5. The Germans drink a lot of beers and eat lots of
[ sausages and fats and suffer fewer heart attacks than
[ the British or Americans.
[
[ CONCLUSION: Eat and drink what you like. Speaking
[ English is apparently what kills you.

[
[ Thanks for pointing out a fault of medical assumptions
[ On a more serious note, in the US we start very early
[ demanding performance from our kids and the excess
[ demands continue until the funeral bill comes in.
[ Work until you drop and that is still not enough.
[
[ A great Hungarian in the mid 1950's came to the US and
[ had some very revealing comments on our system.   We
[ work and worry our selves to death.  The reason I cuss
[ TV. More and more until there is no more.  We see a lot
[ of the results right here.  Sorry to get serious - Guy

When you tell a joke to some folks on Monday, they laugh on Saturday.
Is that what you are waiting for?

Sorry, just a little humor (since I've been living under those "rules" for
over 10 years).

Unfortunately, that culture is being enforced worldwide
by the threat and application of deadly force.
