No. Just that he could live a long and healthy life without eating fiber.
The astronaunts who went to the moon ate a low-residue diet (not fiber-free,
but little fiber) because the facilities to poop were lacking (they
basically had a bag with adhesive to seal the bag to their butts). It took
more than one person to get everything to work right and took a couple of
hours. It was quite disruptive, especially considering that the cabins on
the space craft were not large. And there was no way to go in the lunar
module (although the astronaunts wear like a diaper, in case they had to go
on the moon). So decreasing the number of BMs the astronaunts had was a good
idea.

I wouldn't recommend that, though. (I mean not eating fiber -- I like the
long and healthy life part ;-) ).
