Old age clock

    California scientists now think , I used to do so myself ,
that there is a set clock which ticks away as we get older , and maybe
one gene becomes active each time . Milk teeth , regular teeth , grey
hair etc.
    Cats live to 13 , dogs to 20 , we to 70 , tortoises and whales
to 200 because in each animal the clock gene may get longer and
longer.
    If we compare the dna of all the animals we should be able to
locate this clock gene and insert a virus to make it longer . 300
years would suit me fine.
