I know this is not a support group, and I sure would appreciate a
suggestion for a better group to post this.

I have a place on my side that just feels wrong.  It is not painful
but it is kind of like my body is telling me something is not right.

I had a MRI for a urinary problem and nothing showed in the tests.
When they do an MRI, do they check just for urinary problems or would
an abnormality in my side also be noted had I not mentioned it?

A good radiologist will note any abnormal findings in the field of the
scan.  But the scan takes cuts, and they will be based on the area of
interest (ie: urinary tract).  So there's no guarantee the scan would
pick up anything not in the area.
But this is not the way to investigate a symptom.  First go to the doc
and tell him/her what you're feeling.  Try to flesh out a bit when and
how things feel not quite right.  The doc will then do the appropriate
test(s).

Good luck,
Steve
