The more dietary fiber you eat the better your sh.t is going to be.  Fiber
rich cereals, fruits like apples, grapes, plums (and, of course, raisins
and prunes), and whole-grain foods (like whole-wheat pasta, whole-grain
bread, popcorn, and whole flaxseed).  Good luck with your poop!

I'd guess there is a lot of individual to individual variation.

I find it easier to concentrate on what I have to avoid:  bananas, cheese,
yogurt, white rice - not necessairly in that order.

Definitely cheese!  Too much dairy is like a big ol' cork up there!  I
hadn't heard that bananas and white rice stuffed you up, though.  I have
never had any problems with that area of functioning, but I'll pay closer
attention when I eat those (like a little science experiment!)

Thanks. I had a really good sh.t this morning. Nothing sets you up for
