My ankle has now been swollen for four weeks (volleyball injury) (I am
36 years old male). Had an exray, and supposedly there is no crack.
I work at a computer during the weekdays, when it seams to feel
worst. But then on the weekend when I am up on my feet and more
active the ankle feels better. Does that make any sense? The only
thing That I can think of that could explain it, is that the
circulation improves when I am walking and therefore feels better.
I think my circulation may be poor in the last few years, I tend to
get cold at night. I also started wearing compression socks, that go
up to my knees this last week. They are suppose to increase
ciculation and compress the swelling down. It does help the
swealling, but my foot still gets sore during the week days. Any
idea why this is the case, that walking makes it feel better. What
else can I do, to make it feel better? Thanks.

If you only 36 and have these problems, you should talk to you doc about
this.
