Hi all,
My first query here and I'm not sure where to post, so my apologies if I step
on toes/breach netiquette.
I'm wondering if anyone suffers from heart failure (Dilated Cardiomyopathy)
and also suffers from allergies, like - say - hay fever? Why I ask: two years
ago I was diagnosed with Heart Failure (I'm on a lot of medication for the
rest of my life, but it could have been much worse) and - as this summer
looks like it could trigger my hay fever - I'm just wondering if there could
be complications for my heart problem. That is, can sneezing fits affect my
heart function? Can allergic reactions themselves have adverse effects
regarding my heart condition?
I've been browsing the Web but had no luck with answers - and I don't see my
own GP for another 6 weeks yet. I don't think it would be proper to make an
earlier appointment just to pose a question or two.
Can anyone help?
Thank you

JS

I can't see how it would be a danger, but there is no reason why you
shouldn't be able to call--this sounds like a fairly general question
that should be answerable without having to examine you.
