I just found out I have diverticulitis from a CT at the ER last night.
I have diarhea since drinking that yucky liquid for the CT exam. Today
I ate a whole bowl of red jello (ER doc said eat only liquids and
jello). About 4 hours later I notice my diarhea is bright red. I
cannot tell if it is from the red jello or if I am bleeding.

I do not feel any constant pain like what brought me to the ER
yesterday.

Anyone have this happen?

If it's bright red, it's not the jello.
jello contains clear gelatin, water, sugars and colorings and the water
you're drinking would dilute the coloring in the jello.  Are you having a
colonoscopy today?  We're told just clear fluids.

No colonoscopy for awhile......  need time to heal in there first.
