An erroneous diagnosis of inflicted head trauma is just as tragic and the resulting destruction of a family is one of the gravest injustices of modern times. Many have recently questioned the existence of the so-called "Shaken Baby Syndrome" and the concept that the last caretaker must have been guilty. Careful reviews often uncover relevant findings that were missed or ignored. Recent pediatric vaccinations have been suspected as precipitating factors. A recent combination of seven antigens is the focus of this investigation. ....... Just pointing out anouther one of your failures. Here is some information about Shaken Baby Syndrome. It is a very real condition, usually brought on by a parent or caretaker. However, I can understand that a jailed child abuse perpetrator, may wish to grasp at straws to regain their freedom. When a child's brain has been turned to mush from being slammed side to side on the inside of the infant's skull, it's kind of difficult to sell that as a missed vaccine reaction. But it appears the anti-vac folks are more interested in campaigning against vaccine protection, then they are in bringing perpetrators of child abuse to justice. ---------- Shaken Baby Syndrome, first described as a syndrome in 1974, can be lethal: approximately one shaken baby in four dies from the injuries. Those who survive may suffer blindness caused by bleeding around the brain and eyes, or disabling brain damage, including mental retardation (mild to severe), paralysis, seizure disorder, speech and learning disabilities, neck and back damage, and dislocated bones. Many incidents of Shaken Baby Syndrome are not reported out of fear. It is important to seek immediate and early medical attention. Serious complications and even DEATH can be avoided. Here are a few symptoms of Shaken Baby Syndrome that have already been discovered: · Head turned to one side. · Unable to lift or turn head. · Pinpointed, dilated, or unequal size pupils. · Blood pooling in the eyes. · Pupils unresponsive to light. · Bulging or spongy forehead. · No smiling or vocalization. · Poor sucking or swallowing. · Rigidity. · Semi-consciousness, lethargy, or decreased muscle tone. · Difficulty breathing. · Seizures or spasms. · Swollen head, which may appear later. Vaccine-preventable diseases like measles kill many thousands of children each year, especially in developing countries. > Making that choice is not child abuse. Making the choice to vaccinate one's kids saves lives. Vaccines have completely eliminated polio and smallpox in the US. In addition, measles, mumps, rubella and rubella-related birth defects, invasive hemophilis influenza disease (like meningitis), hepatitis B, diptheria, pertussis, tetanus and other diseases are much less common than before.
