How long will this debilitating side-effect last?

Best and thanks in advance,

D.H.

Well I just started it and I had influenza-like symptoms
at first fever, chills, and muscle cramping.

Now I have a little restlessness, muscle aches in my shoulders.

But the blurriness is the most obnoxious side-effect.

I really appreciate this.

Best,

D.H.

David,

Please see an opthomologist very soon.   My symptoms are from crohns
disease, and they really progress rapidly.  From never having worn glasses
(and I am elderly) to terrible vision problems and deafness, I know it is
from crohns.
This evening someone gave me a paper from Crohns and Colitis foundation of
America scaring me about the vision problems from crohns.   I do not mean to
scare you, but better be cautious than think everything is nothing.   What a
lousy illness crohns is, debilitating any part of the body and never knowing
what  is from crohns (I suspect everything, even the doctors are not so
knowledgeable about crohns)   My theory on the cause is very unusual, but it
is a weird and unusual illness, manmade.    It is caused by one person on a
stimulant, (Xanax, Buspar, all anti-depressants, marijuana, cocaine, etc.)
with a mind/body connection to a friend or relative and the stimulant has an
uncanny ability to transfer harm to an innocent person not on any med.
Just the mind and stimulant is necessary, and stranger still, the two (or
more parties) do not have to be in the same room for the damage to take
place, they can be miles and miles apart, still the harm is there.   Funny
huh, what one person ingests harming another.   You can believe me, I wish
for you to consider everything, it is quite common, as our society worships
anti-depressants.   It has changed my life to where I do not recognize
myself, it affects the mind also.
David, listen to me, rule it out.   and let me know how you do, write me at
email Advocate147@aol.com     This rules my life  and I worry for a dear
personal friend in a nursing home where anti-depressants are given to some
residents and the others are placed in jeopardy of acute harm and no one
knows or cares if they are unduly sick.   Everything is normal  according to
the administrator.   Call me disgusted, but more sad than anything.    If
you suspect crohns, write me and I will tell you more.
My comments are on website   DoctorBrains, org  on the subject of crohns by
Kureforcrohns (me.)
Regards
Gail Michael

David, the official information on this drug (from abilify.com)
notes the blurred vision a rare side effect with no recommendation.
However http://www.drugs.com/abilify.html says this:
------------------------
Stop using Abilify and call your doctor at once if you have the
following symptoms: fever with stiff muscles and rapid heart rate;
uncontrolled muscle movements; symptoms that come on suddenly such
as numbness or weakness, severe headache, and problems with vision,
speech, or balance.
------------------------
They rarely recommend stopping medication without doctor's prior
approval so that indicates how serious it is.  There's no sign in
anything I've read that "this too shall pass" as long as you're
still on the medication.
